Keewaytinook Okimakanak

Keewaytinook Okimakanak’s Economic Development Advisor works closely with First Nations to develop initiatives which are appropriate to the socio-economic, cultural, and geographical environment of each First Nation. The priority is to increase business skills and knowledge in member communities.

Current initiatives:

• development of an all-season road north of Red Lake
• new opportunities in eco-tourism
• mapping of traditional land-use pursuits
• small scale hydro generation
